Juror Appreciation Day
The jury
system and citizen jurors are the backbone of our justice system.
Here are some ideas on how to acknowledge their importance:
- Honor
jurors in your community.
- Coordinate
event with local courthouse. Invite former jurors to the courthouse
and hand out appreciation certificates.
- Download
a certificate template (PDF). If you have a color printer,
the border on the certificate will be blue. The certificate
will look best printed on cream or parchment-style paper.
- Project
can also include a table or room at the courthouse where community
members can ask questions about the law to attorney TLA/Academy
members.
