Description
Doctors write more than 110 million prescriptions every year for Nexium and similar proton pump inhibitors, which are used to treat conditions such as gastroesophogeal reflux disease, ulcers, and inflammation of the esophagus. Unfortunately, recent studies have linked proton pump inhibitors with an increased risk of hip fracture, especially in patients over 50. The new Litigation Group will educate members about proton pump inhibitors, share documents and legal research, and offer a secure list server to discuss litigation strategies.
